About the Directorate
The Directorate of Research, International Relations, and Partnership is a crucial administrative unit
within the university. Its primary role is establishing, managing, and enhancing the university’s
international engagements. Through collaboration with international academic and research institutions,
the directorate works towards strengthening partnerships, facilitating joint research initiatives, and
promoting student and staff mobility.
The directorate plays a pivotal role in aligning the university’s vision with international academic
standards and ensuring that faculty and students gain access to global opportunities. By creating strong
institutional linkages, it also helps secure funding for research, improve the university’s reputation, and
foster knowledge exchange on a global scale.
Our Objectives
The Directorate is responsible for achieving the following key objectives:
Building International Partnerships: Identifying and establishing relationships with
international organizations, universities, governments, and stakeholders.
Facilitating Collaboration: Negotiating and managing partnerships through Memorandums of
Understanding (MoUs) to outline collaborative scopes and frameworks.
Enhancing Mobility: Promoting student and faculty exchange programs for research
collaborations, teaching opportunities, and study abroad initiatives.
Promoting Research Excellence: Supporting joint research projects by developing proposals
and securing funding from international donors.
Organizing Events: Hosting international conferences, workshops, and training sessions to
foster knowledge exchange and capacity building.
Monitoring Effectiveness: Evaluating the impact of partnerships to ensure alignment with
institutional goals and continuous improvement.
